Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

CE conformity has become a must for any electronic gadget or for any device or component of mass consumption in today’s world. If a product is not CE grade, it is said to be useless in terms of its viability.

Consumers have started to classify products into segments of their own and CE marking is one such criterion in their record books that a product must fulfil to be bought on a global scale. According to a report, almost 80% consumers prefer CE marked goods rather that those which are not approved and do not follow the stringent parameters of CE.

If a product has CE compliance, it has a lot of advantages. Not only is it good for the company that owns the product if this CE compliant, but it is also good for the consumers who buy such electronic equipments. CE grading helps is classifying the good from the bad, be it in anything.

CE compliant products have a longer lifetime as compared to products which differ from it. In short, a motion should be passed or directives issued to ensure that all products being launched into the market are CE compliant if the government wishes to let its people see a greener tomorrow.
